CRRC Holds 'Discovering the World by Train' Themed Activities

Recently, CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC) launched a series of activities themed on "Discovering the World by Train" in collaboration with official media outlets, with the aim of displaying its achievements in building a global rail transit community with a shared future. 

To date, the themed activities have been carried out in six countries, namely, Turkiye, Laos, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and Argentina. 

Providing high-quality services with high-end products

This year marks the 10th year of cooperation between the CRRC and Turkiye. On June 7, a ceremony themed on "Discovering the World by Train" was held by the CRRC-MNG Rail System Vehicles Industry and Trade Ltd, to mark the operation of the Istanbul Airport subway line. 

The project, which is the first unmanned subway project in Turkiye, will help promote the upgrade of the industrial chain of local rail transits, facilitate the cultivation of high-end skilled talents, as well as create hundreds of jobs.

In Jujuy province, Argentina, the CRRC specifically designed an advanced new energy light rail train to serve the Argentine World cultural heritage Umahuaca scenic spot. 

The train officially rolled out the assembly line on June 6, attracting the attention of local residents with its astonishing appearance, leading technical ideas and high-quality services.

To better sever the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, which starts on June 26, the CRRC made extra effort to maintain the Mecca Metro that had operated for over 10 years.  

Promoting the CRRC's international image through cultural platforms

The CRRC's first overseas center for science, technology and culture exchange was officially opened on March 3, in Brazil. 

The center serves as an exchange platform for Chinese enterprises and their local collaboration partners and helps both sides continuously expand cooperation fields as well as improve cooperation quality. 

This year marks the 15th year of cooperation between the CRRC and Brazil. The CRRC shared its progress in rail transit innovations by participating in the 2023 Brazil International Railway Equipment Exhibition. 

In Thailand, the CRRC participated in the Asia Pacific Rail Transit Exhibition from May 31 to June 1, to comprehensively promote its brand image by form of academic seminars and technology releases. 

Taking this opportunity, the CRRC also held a series on-site activities for its fans, including the release of photography works during the themed activity "Discovering the World by Train" in Thailand, exchanges and exhibitions for cultural creative products, and Q&A sessions. 

Practicing corporate social responsibility to promote sustained development 

A football field constructed by the CRRC was unveiled in at the Chomphet Lower Secondary School in the Laotian capital of Vientiane, providing a professional and safe playground for local students. 

"Chinese enterprises have been offering our students assistance, in terms of physical and spiritual support, and we are impressed by their warmth and friendliness," the school's president said.

The CRRC's first train culture site was established in Vientiane station of the China-Laos Railway. More than 20 advanced rail train models were showcased at the cultural site, including the high-speed railway, high-speed maglev train and urban rail vehicles, attracting lots of tourists and rail enthusiasts.

The CRRC held a class on bullet train culture on the Lancang train of the China-Laos Railway. CRRC experts shared rail transit equipment knowledge with Lao teenagers and enthusiasts, helping broaden their horizons and sowing the seeds of hope for the bright future for China-Laos relations.
