The third ONE RECOGNITION 7,000 TEU container ship was delivered to its buyer on Jan 29, 2024.
The ship was jointly built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, for Seaspan Corporation based in Canada.
It adopted the latest-generation medium-sized container ship designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute, a subsidiary of CSSC.
The ship has a length of 272 meters, a width of 42.8 meters and a height of 24.6 meters. Additionally, it has a load draft of 15 meters and is capable of carrying more than 83,500 metric tons of containers.
It’s worth noting that the ship has outstanding performance in energy conservation and environmental protection.
