The 1,530-meter-long single-tower cable-stayed bridge across the Fraser River is an important transport hub in the city. CRSBG is responsible for the manufacturing and transportation of steel products used in construction, and its manufacturing processes comply with the standards of both Canada and the United States.

CRSBG complied with the production and test specifications, used proper materials and ensured qualified welding. Paint-free technology was adopted, thereby reducing the pollution caused by the emission of volatile organic compounds and cutting maintenance costs throughout the bridge’s full lifecycle.

The bridge improves the efficiency of commuting and freight transport on both sides of the Fraser River. It also takes into account both the slow traffic and environmental protection in the region. It is expected to promote the economic growth of southern Vancouver and help improve public services.
